“Securing the Homeland” — DHS Aircraft, Part 1

This article aims to shine a spotlight on some of the shadowy aircraft employed by DHS for their missions, which have increasingly taken on a secret police vibe. This article is by no means exhaustive, and is based entirely on the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA)’s 2019 “releasable aircraft” list. Follow-up articles will cover unmanned aerial vehicles (UAV) and helicopters.
